Your Rights Under the California Consumer Privacy Act
Your Rights as a California Resident
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This page describes your rights and how to exercise them.
Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose:
- The categories of personal information we have collected about you
- The categories of sources from which we collected personal information
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting personal information
- The categories of third parties with whom we share personal information
- The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions required by law (such as completing transactions, detecting security incidents, or complying with legal obligations).
Right to Opt-Out of Sale
We do NOT sell personal information.
Uprev does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. Therefore, we do not offer an opt-out for sales of personal information.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means we will not:
- Deny you goods or services
- Charge you different prices or rates
- Provide a different level or quality of service
- Suggest you may receive a different price or level of service

How to Submit a Request
To exercise your CCPA rights, please submit a request by emailing:
ccpa@uprev.appPlease include in your request:
- Your Shopify store name or domain
- The specific right you wish to exercise
- Sufficient information to verify your identity
Verification Process
We will verify your request by:
- Confirming Shopify store ownership through Shopify's authentication
- Email confirmation from the registered store email address
- Matching provided information with our records
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide:
- Written permission signed by you
- Proof of their identity
- We may also require you to verify your identity directly
Response Timeline
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
Financial Incentives
We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for the retention or sale of personal information.
